 ‘Have you ever wondered what it would be like to have a million dollars, or a billion. or how about a trillion, or even a gazillion?

 Meet Joe Spud.’

 Billionaire Boy is a book that we read last term and it was great  because you had to do some critical thinking while reading. 

David Walliams was born on 20th August 1971 in Merton, London. He is 49 years old and is the author of many books including Billionaire boy. He has written more than 40 books. 

The story is about a 12-year-old  billionaire named Joe Spud, who lives with his Dad, Mr Spud, who made money out of a simple toilet paper roll. The Spuds live in a very large mansion that cost more than 50 billion dollars which is not much at all for Mr Spud because he is a trillionaire.

The main character is Joe Spud, He got money by having a birthday. He got 1 million dollars for just having a special day. He has a Formula 1 car that is the only one in the world. But of course, no one knows that because he has no friends.

I thought that this book was pretty good because it was interesting. I rated this book 3 and a half stars. Maybe you should try it and  see if you like it.

In room two we are learning to write haiku poem. 

Watching the leaves fall,

The leaves are bright orange,

Leaves crunching in the sun.

On Monday 10th of May the senior syndicate went to a red zone , the first activity was eating rice the was like porridge.

The second activity was building a hut that can withstand any weather .

 

I liked when we had to hide from each other like we there were people trying to get us.

The third activity was trying to get your friend to the other side of the course my friend was Tai.

The forth activity was doing  this language thing, you had to fill out a form in mandarin it was really hard.

This is what happens to refuges 

but when they get saved and go back to the home country

I made limerick about Bob the builder. A limerick is like a poem but shorter and silly. Other styles of poems are sad. 

There was a man named Bob,

He had a real bad stinky job,

He had to pick up poop,

 With one big scoop,

Then exploded his real bad job.

Report on NBC

W.A.L.T write informative reports. 

We have spend a long time on these reports about our school. I really enjoyed doing the report. we intervened miss Daines, looked through the time capsule and had a walk around the school for some tips about our school.
